perspective when it comes to the tune of government than i do. i think you believe that government is the wherewithal for what we need in this country. i do not. i believe in private enterprise, private responsibility, but i thank you for your service. welcome for that service. i respect that she is a mother, a rancher, a small business person. i think she is campaigning in all three of those things they have a great deal of respect for what she did on a school board and a legislature. you are always putting yourself at risk. we have fundamental disagreements. the negative advertising, in one year and -- on you have to do is avoid watching television is not a bad option. what she just said is not true. i started a business in nebraska, and the first thing i had to do to start our business must get a permit from the city office, talk to the county, the state. i understand that government does not create jobs. i understand you've got to be careful with taxes and regulation to make that hpen. thats political rhetoric in my view, and it does not resemble the facts. she said it is diffu

said the shelling came from syrian government forces. hours later, turkish artillery fired back, at unnamed targets inside syria. and, turkey's nato allies demanded an immediate halt to hostile action against the turks. meanwhile, three suicide car bombings killed at least 34 people in syria's embattled city of aleppo. the attack was on a government- controlled section. the coordinated explosions hit a central square, destroying a number of buildings and littering the streets with twisted metal and concrete. at least 122 people were wounded. and the death toll was expected to rise as crews work through the rubble. in iran, riot police and protesters came to blows over the collapse of the national currency. the rial has lost a third of its value in less than a week. today, merchants at tehran's main bazaar protested outside their stalls and closed for the day. exchange houses and currency websites also were closed down. in the end, police arrested money changers and fired tear gas to disperse crowds. the protesters charged president mahmoud ahmadinejad's policies have fueled the

think what you've seen the last week is more where he really would be when it comes to governing. i think he's had to do a lot of things. he's had to pretend in a way that's damaged his image and his credibility. he's had to pretend to get conservatives excited. now conservatives are so frustrated with the campaign they'll take anything, they'll even take a moderate mitt so he has extreme flexibility for the next couple of weeks. and he has to seize the moment. >> well, i've got to tell you, i was excited, mika, during the debate, two things i saw. one, him focusing on how he was bipartisan, how he got things done in massachusetts, how it made me meet with democratic leaders every monday. i loved that. americans love that. they're hungry for that and i'm so glad he did it. that's one. and two, i loved it, i said it yesterday, i will say it today, i loved him saying i will not cut a tax that will raise the national deficit. now, everybody can obsess on his 87 -- and obsess on what he said during the primaries. but that sent a message to me, jim vandehei. >> of the philosophy. >> that
